Abstract
In this article, a technology forecast for the introduction of SAE Level 5 vehicles has been conducted by using S-Curve methodology both with patent applications and articles. In the analysis, strategic roadmaps of the related associations such as CCAM(Connected Cooperative and Autonomous Mobility) and ERTRAC(The European Road Transport Research Advisory Council) have been used to analyze the issues to be resolved and to determine the main key technologies. Specific technology forecasts for the main issues and technologies have also been developed. To understand the manufacturing readiness timing, also an analysis of the already introduced technologies has been conducted. Combining the results of all these studies, a conclusion for the estimation of SAE level 5 vehicles has been elaborated
